Heading to Sanya
Today, I woke up early. My parents and I were going from Haikou to Sanya. We indulged in the mouthwatering buffet breakfast provided by the hotel, Intercontinental. I highly recommend their potato salads.
Soon, we set off to the railway station. The rest of the journey went by fast and Sanya came into view quicker than I had expected.
Exploring Wyndham (Hotel)
We checked into our resort hotel, Wyndham. There were many huge pools. We thought, why not go for a swim? Unfortunately, the weather was not the best. It was raining heavily. We had no choice but explore other parts of our hotel first.
After roaming around, I discovered that a mini library and a cinema was located in our resort hotel! I was extremely thrilled and took a few books to read. By then, the rain had stopped. We decided that it was time to swim.
Swimming Time!
I changed into my swimsuit immediately and dashed to the pools. I headed to the one with huge water slides first. Splash! I was having a whale of a time.
Later, we also went onto a colossal blue and yellow float. We tried our luck at basketball too, as there was a hoop in the largest pool.
I also practiced swimming in the deepest pool. Beside that, there were playgrounds, mazes and climbing structures. I had a lot of fun playing there. However, I did get stuck in a few nets!
Dinner
After a few hours, it was time to return to our hotel room. I definitely had a great time. Thereafter, my parents and I explored other facilities. It was getting late so we went for dinner at a restaurant below our hotel.
It was called Xinyue Restaurant. We ordered the seafood 🦞 set meal. The fish was spectacular! I throughly enjoyed the meal. It was a large serving for three people and I would recommend the restaurant if you are staying at the resort hotel.
After dinner, it was pouring. Thus, we headed back to our hotel room to rest. Time to conserve some energy for tomorrow!
