Day 4
12 June 2025
Airport Hotel and Mall
The typhoon was nearโฆ The weather was not looking good so my parents and I had to rush from Sanya to Meilan. Many people had to hurry onboard the high-speed train too. We caught the last one. Thankfully, we made it to our airport hotel.
We booked a themed room so there were large plushies, along with swings and slides. After settling in, we went to the mall connected to our hotel, Airport City, for lunch. I ordered a huge plate of seafood fried rice and it was absolutely delicious.

Wu Yue Guang Chang
After eating, we shopped for a while before going to Wu Yue Guang Chang. There, I watched the latest Doraemon Movie. It was thrilling and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We got free popcorn and drinks too. (Sadly, for the drinks, Coke was the only option.)
Next, we went to a restaurant called Shi Wei Guan to eat dinner. The food was amazing! I especially enjoyed the tofu and chicken.

As it was getting late, my parents and I headed back to our hotel. Read on for the last two days!
Days 5 and 6
13 June 2025 (& a bit of 14 June)
Like the previous day, we went to Airport City connected to our hotel. I took funny photos with statues located throughout the mall. Thereafter, I got six free tries to play with the claw machines there as we purchased many items. Sadly, I did not manage to catch anything.
After shopping for a bit, we decided to go to their museum. Before that, we headed to Show City for lunch. There was a Jiang Zi Grilled Fish restaurant there. As I had seen that restaurant several times, I suggested to my parents that we should eat there. Thus, we ordered their signature Pineapple Grilled Fish, tofu and cuttlefish skewers.
A few minutes later, the dishes were served. The Pineapple Grilled Fish also came with two drinks. It was absolutely scrumptious!

Shizhi Pavillion
After indulging in the delicious food, we walked to the museum. Unfortunately, it was not open due to the upcoming typhoon. I was very disappointed. Thankfully, Shizhi Pavillion was beside the museum. (Free Entry) It was open! We went in and toured the pavillion. There were a few interactive booths. I also took pictures with a dancing robot. The carvings on the wall were very unique. They recorded Hainan’s history from the past to present.

Holiday Beachside Resort
Next, we took a Didi to Holiday Beachside Resort. The beach was partly closed due to the approaching typhoon. Thankfully, we managed to enter. I drew a huge heart on the ground with a smiley face. If you visit the beach, be sure to try to spot my drawing! (I hope it will be there)

The breeze was calming and we took a few spectacular photos. I really wanted to dip my toes into the water. However, I was wearing sport shoes. Thereafter, we went to Friendship Sunshine City for dinner!
Friendship Sunshine City
At Friendship Sunshine City, we ate a feast at Zhe Da Chu. It was mouthwatering. I loved the tofu as always.
I also bought a cute Doraemon toy at Miniso. The best part was the refreshing Avocado Milk Shake.

Alas, it was the last night at Hainan. My parents and I would be back in Singapore tomorrow morning.
A TINY bit of Day 6
We woke up early to catch our flight. For breakfast, I quickly gobbled down some bread and yogurt. Next, I went to the airport with my parent on a cramped bus. Finally, we were heading home. I definitely hope to visit Hainan again!
